Systems Analysis, Synthesis & Strategic Direction for Transitions in Complex Systems

I help organisations find direction in complex transitions. I read the system, the dependencies and the behaviour underneath, and turn that into a course they can hold. My background runs from the circular and regenerative economy to resource value chains, strategic dependencies and the transformation of whole systems, including the science and higher education system.

I work across science, policy and practice, at a strategic and substantive level: analysis, synthesis and direction-setting. Not coordination or operational management.

18 years in complex transitions have made me rigorous, analytical and evidence-based. I am often described as a pragmatic idealist and a rainmaker: sharp in analysis, with a strong sense of framing, timing and what it takes for an insight to land.
